JEF JON SIN has now been on the road with the Ratoadskidmuffin for over a year and has performed in hundreds of cities across North America. Cities range from Miami, Florida to Houston, Texas and even Toronto, Ontario. I have narrowed down JEF’s top 5 favourite cities that he has performed in across the country.
5. Telluride, Colorado.
The beginning of 2014 started on a high note, that to be literal, on the High-Mile Tour in Colorado with Nappy Roots. He has played several shows and pop up shows.
The crowds in Telluride generally range from 18 to 35 year olds because of the amount of tourist attractions. JEF JON SIN is that kind of rapper. Whoever notices him, will never forget the music to his name. What’s his name?
4. Austin, Texas.
SXSW is one of the festivals that JEF JON SIN never misses! Whether it’s walking down 6th street, in a venue, or at the corner of 10th and 15th avenue JEF JON SIN will be getting your attention. 2013 was the biggest year for JEF! He got a contract with Mophie and performed with their mobile store all week bringing in close to 2,000 new Twitter followers just in a week. He is a growing artist and Austin loves him and is excited for more things to come.
This year JEF JON SIN will be performing at The Blind Pig on 212 E 6th St. at 11:45 p.m. As well as Amped (upstairs) 300 E 6th St. at 11:45 p.m. alongside JEF JON SIN’s road mates 40 Akerz.
“Auburn State, y’all are turnt up!” JEF JON SIN. Last summer JEF JON SIN pulled into the State University and killed a show at the frat house. He threw the party down! Where you there? If you weren’t you definitely missed out. Performing with Roscoe Dash a bunch of rad teenage kids just having the time of their lives. This is JEF JON SIN’s third favourite city that he has performed in so far.
2. Louisville, Kentucky
JEF JON SIN’s hometown! He was raised in Louisville, also known as “Raised in KY.” Growing up and rapping in his town, everyone knows who JEF JON SIN is, and he loves his people with a passion. With the experience and name that JEF has built, it will explode within the next year all across the United States just from meeting people face to face and performing for them. Thus being his 2nd favourite city to perform in.
1. Los Angeles, California.
This state is one of the best places for a show within the past couple of years. With most major record label companies and artists growing out of Los Angeles, the fan bases are immense from the LA’s population and surrounding areas. JEF JON SIN started his career from here and has ever since been growing. Every show he does always ends with hundreds of new followers and supporters to new gigs and shows. They have the craziest crowds and awesome fans!
If you don’t know who JEF JON SIN is by now, you should get off my blog. If you do then I better see you at his next show. Yes, you!

Rap music has been a very influential form of art since the 1960s. The artists that have come and go in between then and now have changed the history of rap extensively but the roots remain the same. Rap is broken down into different components: content, flow and delivery. Last but not least rap music takes a whole lot of time, hard work and dedication. JEF JON SIN has come a long way into the game of rap music and here are three reasons why you should have his music in your iTunes playlist.
1. Dedication. JEF JON SIN is the most dedicated rapper I have ever seen to the rap music industry. He has the talent to sit down with his producer and write 4-5 songs a week. Think about it…if you write 5 songs a week, that’s 20 songs a month, and 240 songs a year, which is nearly 17 full length albums! Who do you know that can do that? He puts in the time to absolutely perfect each and every piece of content, flow and delivery that goes into a single song. JEF JON SIN released a full-length album just last month, “Everyone Sins” and has never looked back. He’s always moving forward with his creative mind and creating more songs than you could imagine. JEF JON SIN has a passion like no one else for what he does. He quit his job and his life in Los Angeles to go on tour and focus on his music.
2. Inspiration. The inspiration that has come from JEF JON SIN’s song writing is amicable. From the cross country tour to the people he meets daily, there is no doubt that JEF will never NOT have inspiration in his life. He has a story like no other. JEF is a musically genius, writing his own lyrics and creating his own beats. He gets his inspiration from artists he looks up to, the experiences he has in his life and the hardships he goes through. With just releasing his new CD “Everyone Sins” JEF JON SIN has come a long way and has much more ahead of himself.
3. He never went home! Nearly a year ago, JEF JON SIN decided he was going on tour indefinitely! He bought a Mercedes Sprinter van (RATOADSKIDMUFFIN) and built his new home inside of it. Everything from bunk beds, to cabinets, to a flat screen TV mounted on the inside walls with Netflix and an XBOX 360 and even a recording studio! Who has a recording studio inside a tour van? JEF JON SIN does! Starting from Houston, TX he has travelled across North America performing with several different artists like Nappy Roots, 40Akerz, and Roscoe Dash. JEF JON SIN built a stage on top of the RATOADSKIDMUFFIN so that he can pull up anywhere, get up on the roof and rap to anyone that was ready to listen. So along with booked venue shows, JEF JON SIN pulls up to any major sporting and music venue and performs. Kind of like a tail gate party but BETTER! After coming out with a documentary of his successful year on the road naming it “Never Went Home” he has decided to keep the show moving.
